Ray sees things clearly

If you haven't figured out by reading this blog that Chris is a pretty good mortgage guy but just not an objective football prognosticator, I will tell you.  There is no better mortgage guy than Chris Jones.  There is no one person whose football thoughts are more clouded the Chris.

He thought as you can read that BYU would beat TCU this past weekend and still feels that BYU is the better team.  This is clouded thinking.  He is "stuck on stupid" football.  You see those of us who have always rooted for a team that has a less then storied history can see the football world with clearer vision.  My team, the CSU Rams have in fact only finished in the top 25 three times since anyone started counting.  I really know what a bad team looks like.  And, I can objectively look at my team, your team, anyone's team and say they are good, bad, or ugly.

Chris, the quintessential BYU fan, remembers the 1984 National Championship like it was his wedding night and now sees that BYU uniform and says that's a good team.  You see his vision is clouded by the fact that BYU has a rich history of football one that for the past 30 years has few equals and this should be recognized and applauded.  Then something else should be remembered... it is HISTORY.  Just because the blue or black or navy blue or baby blue or whatever color it is walks out onto the field doesn't mean it is a good team.  It is a team with a 1-2 record.  For those that have problems reading, that is a 1-2 record, period!  By the way CSU has a 1-2 record also, only that the one win is at least against a Division 1-A school.

So Chris and BYU fans everywhere, this year like the last couple is not going to be your year.  Plan on some more rebuilding.
